Generating Inner Contentment – Meditation Retreat

generating inner contentmentGenerating Inner Contentment Meditation Retreat

Saturday 19 December
9:30am – 1:30pm
with Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden
Following the book, the How to Understand the Mind

Have you ever thought to think how painful the mind of discontent is? Probably not because when we are discontent we are looking elsewhere for happiness –  a new job, a new house, a new partner, a vaccine! – we look everywhere but the mind of discontent itself. We can not solve the problem of discontent externally. Externally, no matter what our situation, we are internally impoverished. We need more! and more! and more!
The inner wealth of contentment is a mind, an inner experience, generated from wisdom, that keeps us happy no matter the situation, whether we are rich, poor or somewhere in the middle.

The morning retreat consists of three one-hour sessions, with a half-hour break between sessions. Each session consists of a teaching, guided meditation and time for question and answer.  and a guided meditation and question and answer. Everyone is welcome to our generating inner contentment meditation retreat, regardless of background or experience.

Come and spend a meaningful Saturday morning on retreat and generate inner contentment.
