with Resident Teacher Kelsang Kunden

When we develop heavy feelings about life it is usually because we are tightly grasping at things, people and situations. Buddha’s most profound teachings on emptiness explain that to live lightly we need to understand how things really exist. At the moment, we grasp onto our problems and difficulties as being so solid and real. It is this grasping that causes us to experience fear and suffering. By meditating on emptiness and remembering emptiness in our daily life, we can learn to relax our grasping mind. Though this practice we will come to experience a deep, joyful and lasting inner peace.

In this half – day course with our Resident Teacher, Kelsang Kunden, we will learn how to gain deep and lasting happiness by understanding and meditating on the true nature of things – emptiness. There is no greater method for living lightly and experiencing peace of mind than to understand emptiness. Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators – everyone welcome.

This course will be based on the book Modern Buddhism.

This course will be followed by a one-day emptiness retreat on Saturday 11 July. More information soon.
