THE THREE ASPECTS OF LOVE
Buddha Maitreya Empowerment
with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab
Through my meditating on the Three Aspects of Love,
May I always care for all living beings without exception,
Be free from outer and inner obstructing maras
And attain the state of the Buddha of Loving Kindness
from the dedication prayers in Yoga of Buddha Maitreya
The three aspects of love are affectionate love, cherishing love and wishing love.
Everyone needs this good heart of loving kindness because it solves all our problems and fulfils all of our wishes. Therefore, we are extremely fortunate in now having a rare opportunity to receive this special blessing empowerment.
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will give clear explanations on how to practically improve our good heart through engaging in regular practise of Buddha Maitreya self-generation according to instructions of the Ganden Oral Lineage, the very essence of Je Tsongkhapa’s tradition.
As a result we will find our life temporarily becoming more joyful and ultimately we can experience the permanent peace of mind called nirvana or full enlightenment. How wonderful! Everybody is welcome to join this special online event.
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada and the NKT National Spiritual Director for Canada. A retired General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT-IKBU), he has trained closely with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over thirty-five years and holds the lineages of his blessings in his heart.
At the Ontario Dharma Celebration, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya and give commentary to the practise of Buddha Maitreya self-generation according to instructions of the Ganden Oral Lineage, as well as teachings on loving-kindness.
