With the good weather come so many plans for the summer – with our family and friends. However we have all had the experience – time and time again – of expectations crashing to the ground and that familiar feeling of disappointment arising in our mind. Where does this disappointment come from? It is another painful emotion that we can overcome through meditation and contemplation to overcome our uncontrolled and unrealistic desires. Through training our mind with meditation, we can let go of unrealistic expectations and the disappointments that subsequently follows – we can have a balanced, stable and happy mind.
