Topic for October: Self Respect, Self-Confidence

We are all familiar with feelings of discouragement, low self-esteem or just general awkwardness when dealing with others in some situations. How are these negative, uncomfortable feelings develop? How do they have a hold over the way we think of ourself? By following Buddha’s practical advice we can learn to see ourself in a strong and positive way – bringing genuine self-confidence into our mind through strengthening our own self – respect while at the same time deepening our respect for others. Join us for this 4-week series in October and increase your own inner strength.

These classes provide a basic introduction to Buddhist teachings and meditations. Through these we can learn how to use Buddha’s advice as a solution to our daily problems and in this way come to experience a sense of peace and happiness in our lives. Classes run in a 3 – 4 week series but each class is standalone – so you can drop-in at any time. Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from the classes – just drop in!
