21 Meditations

Feb 9:  Bodhichitta
7 – 8:30pm

In each class we will engage in one lamrim (stages of the path to Enlightenment) meditation. Each class will consist of a guided breathing meditation, followed by a teaching to familiarize ourselves with the points to contemplate. This will be followed by a guided meditation on the lamrim meditation. After the meditation, there will be advice on how we can put our new understanding into practice in our daily life. In this way, we can deepen our experience of the lamrim meditation in the week ahead.

This class is based on the lamrim meditation: bodhichitta.  Bodhichitta is born from great compassion, which itself depends upon cherishing love. Cherishing love can  be likened to a field, compassion to the seeds, taking and giving to perfect conditions for enabling the seeds to grow, and bodhichitta to the harvest.

Join Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden for 21 Meditations Feb 9 with time to contemplate and meditate on profound teachings that will deepen our inner experience of wisdom and compassion.

Everyone is welcome regardless of background or previous experience.
