Covid-19 Update

“If we regard all living beings as our mothers, we will find it easy to develop pure love and compassion, our everyday relationships will become pure and stable, and we will naturally avoid negative actions such as killing or harming living beings.
~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso — from The New Meditation Handbook

21 Meditations

June 22:  Recognizing That All Living Beings Are Our Mothers
7 – 8:30pm

In each class we will engage in one lamrim (stages of the path to Enlightenment) meditation. Each class will consist of a guided breathing meditation, followed by a teaching to familiarize ourselves with the points to contemplate. This will be followed by a guided meditation on the lamrim meditation. After the meditation, there will be advice on how we can put our new understanding into practice in our daily life. In this way, we can deepen our experience of the lamrim meditation in the week ahead.

This class is based on the lamrim meditation: recognizing all living beings as our mother. The purpose of this meditation is to enhance our affectionate love for all living beings by contemplating how they are all our mothers from previous lives.

Join Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden for 21 Meditations on recognizing all living beings in a special way with time to contemplate and meditate on profound teachings that will deepen our inner experience of wisdom and compassion.

Everyone is welcome regardless of background or previous experience.
