Foundation Open House Class
Studying Meaningful to Behold (a commentary to the Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life)
On May 3, we begin a new term of study with the second section of Meaningful to Behold – Becoming a Friend of the World. This section of the book covers Chapters 3 “Conscientiousness” and Chapter 4 “Guarding the Mind With Alertness.“
Everyone is welcome to our Foundation Program Open House onsite or online.
We will begin a new section of Meaningful to Behold – Becoming a Friend of the World by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. This precious text is a highly acclaimed commentary to the great Indian Buddhist Master Shantideva’s famous spiritual poem Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, one of the best loved and most important texts of Mahayana Buddhism. It reveals with poetic beauty and deep spiritual insight how to enter, make progress on, and complete the Buddhist path to enlightenment.
