January is a special opportunity for those who have received Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerments in the Kadampa lineage to draw closer to Buddha Heruka.  Join us for a Heruka Body Mandala Q&A class following the retreat.

For all those who attended the Heruka Body Mandala retreat, this question and answer session is an opportunity to clarify any questions that you may have. This session will include a short practice of Yoga of Buddha Heruka prayers with some short meditation. Following the conclusion of the prayers, there will be time to ask questions about Heruka and Vajrayogini practice. This class will only be available online.

This class is only open to those who have received Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment. You are welcome to attend this the Heruka Body Mandala Q&A if you have not attended the retreat. There is an opportunity to receive Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment at both the Summer and Fall Festivals in 2021.

To get the most from the retreat, we recommend  Modern Buddhism. This book contains readings and meditations on Heruka Body Mandala as well as Yoga of Buddha Heruka prayers that we will engage in each session. The sessions will also include more detailed information from Essence of Vajrayana, also available from Tharpa Publications. 

This Heruka Body Mandala retreat is based on the book Modern Buddhism by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Modern Buddhism is perfectly suited for inspiring those seeking solutions within Buddhism to problems of everyday life, as well as for encouraging practitioners of all faiths to deepen their understanding and practice of the spiritual path.
