Lamrim Summer Retreat 2022

August 31 – September 4
in person only | livestream available for members

In our annual Lamrim Summer Retreat, we will follow the Lamrim meditations according to their presentation in Venerable Geshe Kelsang’s latest book, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions.

By developing an understanding and familiarity with lamrim (or “stages of the path to Enlightenment”) meditations, we will enjoy a special experience of peace and fulfillment that comes from a spiritually meaningful life. Ultimately Lamrim meditations will give rise to a complete transformation of our mind through the power of wisdom and compassion.

The retreat will begin on Thursday 31 August. Each session will consist of a teaching, short prayers, guided meditation and time for question and answer. Day by day we will progress through the stages of the path from realizing our precious human life to the developing the wisdom of superior seeing. Everyone welcome, regardless of background or experience.

Join us for our Lamrim summer retreat this August. Come for a day, a weekend or join us for the full retreat. Everyone welcome.

Mirror of Dharma with Additions

To get the most from the retreat, we recommend purchasing the Mirror of Dharma with Additions. This book contains all the meditation retreat sessions as well as Prayers for Meditation prayers that we will engage in each session.

This lamrim retreat is based on meditations from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s latest book, Mirror of Dharma with Additions. This book, ‘The Mirror of Dharma’ – Dharma means the teachings of enlightened beings – gives practical advice on how we can solve our daily problems of uncontrolled desire, anger and ignorance, and how to make our human life meaningful.

This book is available as a print or ebook from Tharpa Publications.
