The practice of meditation is to become deeply familiar with positive states of mind that are conducive to happiness. More and more people are discovering the benefits of meditation and incorporating meditation practice into their daily life. This class is geared towards those who are thinking of starting a meditation practice, or would like to refresh their practice.

In this half-day course, our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden, will present the fundamentals of meditation and how we can work to improve our concentration. In this way, we will explore together the basic meditation techniques that will allow us to experience inner peace. In particular, we will discover how to avoid the 2 major obstacles to successful meditations: mental wandering and mental sinking.
