Anyone can meditate and through regular meditation we can all improve our loving kindness and compassion towards others. In this course we will engage in simple guided meditations that will increase our good heart and learn practical methods to maintain this good heart during the day. These simple guided meditations that can be practised by anyone. With regular practice, they will help to develop greater peace of mind and happiness, and to improve our relationships with others through learning to cherish others.
Session One: The first meditation is the principal meditation, and success in the other two depends upon gaining experience of this one first. In this meditation we will cultivate a good heart, wishing for others to be happy and free from suffering. This is true cherishing, and pure love.
Session Two: Taking away suffering and giving happiness: In this meditation we develop a compassionate wish to take away others suffering and deepen and strengthen our mind of pure love This course is perfect for beginners and for experienced meditators. Everyone welcome. If you would like to attend the in-class session, please RSVP as we have limited space.
