Meditation for World Peace July 12
July 12, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
| FreeMeditation for World Peace
Onsite only
No charge

Join us on Tuesday evenings and feel empowered to change yourself and change the world. This class begins with a guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching exploring one aspect of Buddha’s teachings – which focus on solutions to problems in daily life. The teaching is followed by beautiful chanted prayers and dedication for all those who are experiencing difficulties. Everyone welcome regardless of background or previous experience.

Before our Tuesday meditation class, we engage in Heart Jewel prayers and a guided Lamrim meditation. Heart Jewel is a daily practice for Kadampa practitioners. We engage in 20 minutes of prayers to our Spiritual Guide, Je Tsongkhapa followed by a 15 minute guided meditation. We finish with 20 minutes of chanted prayers to our Dharma protector, Dorje Shugden, who removes obstacles to our spiritual practice and provides good conditions. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Heart Jewel prayers and Meditation for World Peace are held onsite only. There is no charge to attend.
Everybody needs to be good-natured with a good heart, because in this way we can solve our own problems as well as those of others, and we can make our human life meaningful.

This is a short class, with time for prayers and silent contemplation so that we can increase our own inner peace and compassion.
