Offering to the Spiritual Guide Dec 25

This practice is a special Guru Yoga of Je Tsongkhapa in conjunction with Highest Yoga Tantra that is a preliminary practice for Vajrayana Mahamudra. The main practice is relying upon our Spiritual Guide as a Buddha and making praises and requests, but it also includes all the essential practices of the stages of the path and training the mind, as well as both the generation stage and completion stage of Highest Yoga Tantra. By relying upon Je Tsongkhapa our compassion, wisdom, and spiritual power naturally increase. (2 hours)

Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers on the 10th and 25th of each month. This is a tsog offering puja, so please bring a small food offering. Everyone is welcome to join us for these prayers.

Join In Person

All of our prayers are held on site at Avalokiteshvara Kadampa Buddhist Centre. You do not need to bring anything. We have chairs, mats and cushions available for your meditation. And we also provide sadhana (prayer booklets) for you to use. These booklets can also be purchased in our shop if you would like to maintain a personal practice at home.

You do not need to sign up to attend. Just come along!

Prayers are free. There is no cost to attend. If you are attending Offering to the Spiritual Guide, Wishfulfilling Jewel or Melodious Drum prayers, please bring a small vegetarian food offering.
