Chanted Prayers August 21

Join us August 21 with the practice of Wishfulfilling Jewel with tsog. Engage in prayers to increase wisdom, compassion and spiritual protection. This practice includes a tsog (food) offering.

Chanted prayers (Pujas) are an important component of training in a spiritual life. They help us to still our mind, connect with enlightened beings, and receive blessings.

The practice of Wishfulfilling Jewel is the heart essence of Kadampa Buddhism. This practice has two parts. In the first part we visualize our Spiritual Guide as Je Tsongkhapa and make prayers and requests to purify negativity, accumulate merit, and receive blessings. This is followed by a tsog offering. While we are live-streaming you are welcome to make your own offering from your home. After the tsog offering prayers, we make special requests to our Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugden. Through sincerely relying upon our Dharma Protector, we can overcome obstacles to our practice and create favourable conditions so that we can nurture and increase our pure Dharma realizations. (1 hour). Join us for chanted prayers August 21. Everyone welcome!
