Public Talk with Gen-la Khyenrab
About the Talk: In this busy, confused world, our experiences of happiness are fleeting, short-lived, while inner peace eludes us completely. Our harmful states of mind such as uncontrolled desire and anger create endless problems for both ourselves and others, and prevent us from fulfilling our deepest wishes. Buddha’s popular teaching on the Four Noble Truths offers a clear, simple solution, guiding us to an oasis of peace within our hearts.
About the Teacher: Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) National Spiritual Director for Canada and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada in Toronto. A retired General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), he has trained closely with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for more than forty years and holds the lineages of his blessings in his heart. An internationally renowned Buddhist Teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is greatly admired for his powerful teachings, his wisdom, as well as his great humility and loving-kindness. These qualities make him a pure example for thousands of Kadampa practitioners throughout the world.
