| $12Thursday evenings
7pm – 8:15 pm
@ AKBC in Guelph
Lamrim, a Tibetan term, literally meaning `stages of the path’ is a special arrangement of all Buddha’s teachings that is easy to understand and put into practice. The 21 Buddhist lamrim meditations are actual methods to control our mind and experience lasting inner peace and is the heart of Kadampa meditation practice.
In this Thursday meditation class we will have time to contemplate and meditate on each of the lamim meditations as presented in The New Meditation Handbook. These meditations are a condensation of all Buddha’s teachings and have been arranged in an accessible way by the great Indian Buddhist Teacher, Atisha and our now taught and practiced around the world.
Each class will consist of a guided breathing meditation, an explanation of the purpose of the meditation, followed by a guided meditation and advice on how to put our insight into practice in the week ahead. And of course, there will be time for question and answer and refreshments after the class.
