Introduction to Lamrim
Wednesday, August 23, 2017
7 – 8:30pm
‘Lamrim’ or ‘stages of the path to enlightenment’ is a series of essential Mahayana Buddhist teachings that we can easily integrate into modern daily lives. Lamrim is the daily practice of Kadampas–practitioners who take Buddha’s teachings as personal advice and put them into practice. In this introduction, Kelsang Kunden will give an introduction to these meditations and an explanation of how we can practice them in our modern daily lives.
This introduction is preparation for the week-long Lamrim retreat that will begin the next day. Everyone is welcome to the introduction and also to the retreat sessions that will follow.
