Freedom from Painful Emotions

Buddha taught that all of our suffering comes from delusions – uncontrolled and painful states of mind.  In each class we will focus on how to deal with a particular delusion, among them: desirous attachment, anger, pride, jealousy, and miserliness. Learning practical methods to reduce the power of these delusions will allow us to experience a deep and satisfying emotional freedom, and give us the skill to be the person we wish to be – a person who is positive, joyful and loving.

Classes consist of a breathing meditation to begin, followed by a teaching and a meditation based on the teaching. Class ends with practical advice on how to integrate the meditations and teachings into our daily life in the week ahead.

Breaking bad habitsBreaking Bad Habits

London – Saturday 2 March
10am – 1pm

Nobody wants to hurt the people they love, yet it’s often easy to do. Nobody wants to engage in compulsive behaviour that threatens their health and self esteem, yet we can find ourself doing this on a daily basis. Why?

Bad habits make us unhappy, unhealthy and destroy our relationships and sense of self worth. On this meditation day course, Kelsang Kunden will explain the negative mental patterns that keep us compulsively engaging in negative behaviours that harm ourself and others. By understanding our mind in this way we can finally bring it under control and find mental peace, freedom, integrity and confidence. We can break our bad habits forever. Everyone is welcome.
