Meditate in Guelph
Meditate in Guelph
Throughout the pandemic we have been able to continue our meditation classes, courses and retreats from our Guelph location. Our classes have been online only or a mix of online and onsite. We continue to hold classes in from our main centre in downtown Guelph and invite you all to join us. We understand that those who live further away, in the cities where we regularly hold branches it is more difficult to come to Guelph. You are welcome to join us online for classes with Zoom.
We hope to begin branch classes in locations throughout Southwestern Ontario in 2022. If you are live outside of the Guelph area and are interested in attending meditation classes, please sign up to our newsletter below or follow us on Facebook to get notifications when classes in our branch locations are ready to resume.
Each class consists of guided meditations and teachings that we can contemplate and practice throughout the week. Through engaging in meditation practice we can develop and maintain a peaceful mind all the time. If we have a peaceful mind all the time we will be happy all the time, regardless of whether our conditions are good or bad. Now is the time to train in inner peace and happiness by putting Buddha’s teachings into practice.
Come and meditate in Guelph with us in 2022. Everyone welcome.
What to Expect in a Class
Our meditation classes are for anyone interested in learning how to meditate, regardless of background or beliefs. Classes are designed to give a broad introduction to Buddhist meditation, teachings, and practice.
Every class includes a chance to practise meditation. No prior experience, special equipment or special clothes are necessary for our onsite classes – just come as you are, and bring your mask.
Classes are all standalone individual classes that are presented in a series. You do not need to attend the full series to attend a class.
