Advice for a Happy Life
Sundays in April
Meditation Classes
Online and Onsite
2:30 – 4pm
One thousand years ago, the great Indian Buddhist Master Atisha was instrumental in reviving pure Buddhism in Tibet. When he was about to return to India, he gave very special advice which, if applied in our life even today, can lead us to pure and everlasting happiness. This ancient wisdom practice, known as Advice from Atisha’s Heart, is a perfect method for keeping a balanced mind when faced with the challenging situations of our hectic modern lives.

Advice from Atisha’s Heart is practical advice for developing a good heart. By putting this advice into practice we can purposefully nourish the qualities in our mind that lead to our happiness while reducing our painful thoughts and feelings. For example, some of the meditations help us enhance our self-confidence, empathy, or contentment. Others aid us in overcoming distractions, anger, or depression.
Join Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden for Sunday meditation classes and engage in meditations and contemplations that will enable us to experience a deep and lasting happiness.
You are also welcome to join us for this class on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
