difficult conversations wednesday in may meditation classes

When faced with having to have difficult or uncomfortable conversations we may try avoiding them, repressing our true feelings, lashing out in anger—or all of the above! Ultimately, none of these approaches will lead to resolution, harmony and happiness. Buddha emphasized the need for wise and beneficial actions in all circumstances, and in particular he taught special approaches to dealing with difficulties. These special approaches will help us to navigate even the most challenging situations calmly and wisely, allowing us to communicate with clarity and compassion.

Join us for this special series so you can become empowered with the confidence and skill to successfully handle conflict and confrontation.

Join Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden for Sundays in May with meditation classes that will enable us to experience a deep and lasting happiness and improved harmonious relationships with others.

You are also welcome to join us for this class on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.

I should speak truthfully, coherently, and to the point,
Making my meaning clear in a pleasant manner.
I should speak gently and in moderation,
Without a selfish motivation.

~ Shantideva — from Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life
