Vajrasattva Purification Retreat

Vajrasattva Purification Retreat

We spend all our time and energy trying to avoid problems by making changes to our external world. However, our unhappiness and difficulties are not caused by the external world. Our difficulties are the result of negative karma we have created in the past through our own harmful actions.

By relying upon Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification, we can free ourselves from all our negative karma. As a result of our practice, our mind will become pure, obstacles to our spiritual development will be removed and our external conditions will improve.

During a retreat we reduce our normal worldly activities and concentrate for a period of time on developing spiritual qualities and peaceful minds – finding happiness from within. You are welcome to drop in for any or all of the retreat sessions. Each session consists of a short teachings, time to engage in prayers and recitation of Vajrasattva’s mantra.

Everyone welcome to our Vajrasattva retreat.

Non-virtuous actions are the main causes of all our suffering in this life and countless future lives; and especially they are the main obstacles to attaining Dharma realizations. Therefore we definitely need to purify them through purification practice.
